Content
History
It was laid in the 1860s .
In 1871, it was named after the Greek Church Demetrius of Solunsky on Greek Square . In 1951 - 2003, a tram line ran along the entire avenue.

The main buildings of the first half of the XIX - beginning of the XX century :
- 10-12 “Basin Partnership of Apartment Owners” (1912-1913, architect A. I. Zazersky , E. F. Virrich , N. V. Vasiliev , A. F. Bubyr )
- d. 8 - the former 2nd College House. Alexander III (1899-1900, architect B.A. Brzhostovsky ), now gymnasium No. 166.
- d. 21 - the former 3rd real school (1895-1897, architect A.F. Krasovsky ), now gymnasium No. 155.
In 1967, the Oktyabrsky Concert Hall was built on the site of the Greek Church ( Ligovsky Prospect , 6, architects V. A. Kamensky , A. V. Zhuk , J. M. Verzhbitsky , G. M. Vlanin ).
On Greek Avenue lived:
