Itillek ( grenl . IItivdleq ) - a village in the municipality of Kekkata in southwestern Greenland . The population in January 2005 was 123 people [1] , in January 2008 - 126 people. It is located at a distance of about 50 km from the city of Sisimiut , on an island at the mouth of the fjord of the same name, 200 m south of the Arctic Circle . Until 2009, the village belonged to the commune of Sisimiut.

It was founded in 1847 as Itinninnguaq a kilometer west, but was later moved to the island, to its current location. There are no natural sources of fresh water on the island, it is obtained here from sea water by the reverse osmosis method, before the construction of the desalination plant, fresh water on the island was imported. The main occupation of the population is hunting and fishing, there is also an enterprise for processing fish (cod) and salmon caviar.
