Sawloot ramphodon [2] ( Latin Ramphodon naevius ) is a South American species of hummingbird from the subfamily Trochilinae within the family of hummingbirds (Trochilidae), isolated in the monotypic genus Ramphodon [3] . This species is common in southeastern Brazil [1] . Birds inhabit the subtropical and tropical humid forest lowlands [4] . The body length of birds is 14–16 cm. The beak is straight, the tip of the beak is hooked [5] .
