The administrative center was the village of Brod , located west of Coniferous .
The territory of the rural settlement was located in the north-east of the Novgorod region, in the west of the district near the administrative border with the Lyubytinsky district . On this territory there are many lakes - Gorodno , Sosnitsa, Somino, Naloy, Erosovskoe, Mitinskoe, Ostrovno, Khudoyezh, etc.
Brodsky rural settlement was established in accordance with the law of the Novgorod region of November 11, 2005 No. 559-OZ . It was abolished in the spring of 2010 by combining Antsiferovsky and Brodsky rural settlements into the newly formed municipality "Antsiferovsky rural settlement" with the definition of the administrative center in the village of Antsiferovo [1]
