With the growth of the festival, its format also expanded - now the main Russian performers, world stars, heroes of the indie scene are represented on the stages of Wild Mint, electronic music is played, and young musicians are gaining popularity.
Wild Mint is considered one of the most comfortable festivals in the country . In addition to music scenes, large-scale sports grounds, a lecture hall with leading speakers from various fields, a cinema, and a fair are located on its territory; An extensive children's program is also organized. Wild Mint is a festival where you can go with your family [3] , including with young children, as the organizers pay special attention to safety .

History
Initially, the one-day festival was held in Moscow in August. In 2008, the organizers themselves set up tents and prepared food for the musicians [4] . For the first two years, Wild Mint Festival (2008, 2009), as well as the Glastonbury Festival and Sziget festivals, focused on local folk world music.
But already in 2010, the festival brought together more than 25 thousand people, which the organizers themselves did not expect [5] . It was decided to postpone the festival from August to June [6] . A diverse program was also provided for the festival, which included acquaintance with the Slavic culture (a Slavic village and a children's town were built), a homemade jewelry fair and a street theater performance [7] . After that, it was decided to hold a festival in the country.
In 2011, "Wild Mint" was held in the Kaluga region in Ethnomir Park on two stages and lasted 2 days. In 2012, the festival expanded even more and began to take place 3 days [4] .
In 2015, Wild Mint moves under the city of Aleksin in the Tula Region, where it continues to this day.
In 2018, 60 thousand people visited the festival in 3 days .
In 2019, over 3 days the festival received 58,500 spectators.
