About the album
Two members of the original lineup, Jim McCarthy and Rusty Day, left the band, while bassist Tim Bogert and drummer Carmine Appiche invited guitarist Werner Fritzshings, keyboardist Dwayne Hitchings and lead singer Peter Franch (ex- Leaf Hound , Atomic Rooster ) to the group. Ot 'n' Sweaty the band's final album before their breakup.
The first three songs (filling the first side of the original long-playing record) were recorded at a concert on April 3, 1972 in Puerto Rico at the Mar y Sol festival, and the rest (the second side of the record) in the studio (thus on the album cover is indicated after the name of the group: "on Puerto Rico stage and studio).
