Biography
Born in 1922 into a peasant family in the village of Shumikha (on November 4, 1974, the village of Shumikha was merged with the village of Beregovaya, Kemerovo region). Russian
He graduated from elementary school, worked as a tractor driver on a collective farm . Candidate member of the CPSU (b) .
In the Red Army since December 1941 . Since 1942 at the front.
A sniper of the 849th Infantry Regiment ( 303rd Infantry Division , 3rd Tank Army , Voronezh Front ), Corporal Ivan Abdulov, in defensive battles, destroyed two hundred and ninety-eight Nazis, including five snipers and eleven officers. He trained twenty-seven people in sniper business.
March 11, 1943 in the area of the city of Lyubotin, Kharkov region, having been surrounded, a brave sniper replaced the wounded commander. Antitank grenades knocked out two tanks. He died the death of the brave in this battle.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of October 26, 1943, for the exemplary performance of command missions on the front of the struggle against the German invaders and the courage and heroism shown to this, Corporal Abdulov Ivan Filippovich was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union .
