Biography and career
Prior to studying at the Royal School of Dramatic Arts, Portillo began as an actress in several small theater productions.
One of her most important works was the role in the production of “Oleanna” by David Mamet, directed by Joaquim Cremel in 1994 .
Her debut in films was “Entre rojas” in 1995 . In 1996 , Luis San Narciso selected her for a role in the television series "7 Lives" for the Telecinco TV channel. In it, she played the role of Carlota. The series lasted 10 years. Portillo was nominated for the Goya and Unión de Actores Awards for her role in El Color de las nubes in 1997 .
