Kuummiut ( grenl . Kuummiut ) - founded in 1915, a settlement in the municipality of Sermerssook , in the eastern part of Greenland. Kuummiut is inhabited by 331 people (as of 2013) [1] .

Location
The settlement is located on the eastern shore of the , about 40 kilometers northeast of Angmagssalik and 34 kilometers north of Kulusuk .
Population
The population of Kuummiuta decreased by more than 27% compared with the 1990 level and almost 15% compared to the 2000 level [1] .
