Khalg Gazeti ( azerb. Xalq qəzeti - “Narodnaya Gazeta” ) is a political newspaper in the Azerbaijani language, published in Azerbaijan . The newspaper covers the socio-political events taking place in Azerbaijan and beyond.

Order of the Badge of Honor

The newspaper has been published since August 29, 1919 under the name "Communist." Before the establishment of Soviet power in Baku ( 1920 ), it went underground. It received its modern name in the issue of August 27, 1991. In Soviet times, it was the printed organ of the Communist Party of the Azerbaijan SSR . Jafar Jabbarly , Mamed Said Ordubadi , Nariman Narimanov [1] published their articles in the newspaper.

She was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor of the Azerbaijan SSR ( 1923 ) and the Order of the Badge of Honor ( 1969 ) [2] .
