The white-headed xenopsaris [1] ( lat. Xenopsaris albinucha ) is a species of passerine birds from the titrated family (Tityridae), which is distinguished into the monotypic genus of white-headed xenopsaris ( Xenopsaris ) [2] . Previously, the species was assigned to the families of cotting (Cotingidae) or tyrannous (Tyrannidae). It lives in Argentina , Bolivia , Brazil , Guyana , Paraguay and Venezuela [3] . The natural habitat is low-lying subtropical and tropical dry and wet forests [4] . Body length - 13 cm [4] .

Subspecies
Two subspecies are distinguished in the form [2] :
- Xenopsaris albinucha albinucha - distributed in the west and in the central part of Venezuela [5] ;
- Xenopsaris albinucha minor - is distributed in Guyana, in the north, northeast and east of Brazil, in the north and east of Bolivia, in the west and in the central part of Paraguay, in the northeast of Argentina and in the northwest and the west of Uruguay [5] .
