Content
History
In the 1950s, coal was discovered in large quantities in the Earth's interior on the territory of the Tatsinsky district , moreover of good quality. In 1955, the first builders of the mining community arrived here. In 1957, the village was almost completely built: cottages were built, multi-storey buildings continued to be built. At the same time, cultural institutions began to operate.
In 1961, the village was assigned to the category of workers' villages with the title of "district settlement Uglegorsky." In March 1961, the village Council of Workers' Deputies was formed. In January 1965, the Uglegorsky Village Council of the Tatsinsky District of the Rostov Region was formed. In 1971, a number of industrial enterprises were organized on its territory: a shoe factory, a metalware factory and a nonwoven fabric factory, and later a house-building plant appeared .
In January 1992, the Uglegorsky Village Council of the Tatsinsky District of the Rostov Region was renamed the Administration of the Uglegorsky Village Council of the Tatsinsky District of the Rostov Region.
In September 2004, the administration was reorganized into the Administration of the Uglegorsk Village Council. In 2005, the municipality was renamed Uglegorsk rural settlement [2] .
