History

The Arkhangelsk postal tract was established by Peter I on July 1, 1693. It passed from Moscow to Pereslavl-Zalessky , Rostov , Yaroslavl , Vologda , Vagur and Kholmogory . The first postal station was in Tarasovka , the second in Talitsy , the third in Sergiev Posad , the tenth in Yaroslavl, the seventeenth in Vologda. At each station between Moscow and Sergiev Posad , up to 30 horses were kept, then about 20. In the second half of the 19th century, the Arkhangelogorod postal tract lost its significance with the advent of railways.

The existence of a postal station in Tarasovka is confirmed by many postal documents of the 18th century, in addition, there are references to this in modern literature. When conducting survey work in preparation for the reconstruction of the Yaroslavl Highway in Tarasovka in 2000-2001, it was found that the postal station was in the house on Bolshaya Tarasovskaya 9. According to the architects, the building of the postal station was built no later than the first third of the 19th century. According to the conclusion of the Chief Specialist of the Architecture and Design Department of the Gosstroy of the Russian Federation, this building is a typical example of a public roadside building. The reconstruction of the highway involved the demolition of a number of houses, including this one. The conclusion also states that, despite the loss in the original form of the building, it deserves to be preserved as an example of the architectural style. Until what time this station lasted, it was not yet possible to establish. At the beginning of the XX century, the indigenous inhabitants of Tarasovka Kiseleva lived here. Until the 2010s, it was a private residential building.

During the construction of the road junction in Tarasovka, the house was demolished in the spring of 2015.
