Margarita Boyanova April 3, 1963 , Sofia ) - Bulgarian chess player , grandmaster ( 1985 ). Repeated champion of Bulgaria. As part of the national team, she participated in a number of olympiads ( 1980 - 2008 ); the best result in 1984 is 8½ points out of 12 on the 1st board. Interzonal tournament ( Smederevska-Palanka , 1987 ) - 11-12th place. The best results in international tournaments: Athens ( 1983 ) - 5th; Plovdiv (1985) - 1st; Playa de Aro (Spain; 1985) - 2-3rd; Asenovgrad and Beyle-Yerkulane (1985) - 1-2; Warsaw (1986) - 2-3rd; Primorsko (1987) - 1st place.
