Biography

He began his professional career in the club " Hurricane ", with which he sought the right to enter the elite division. In total, in 2000-2008 he spent 147 matches for “Hurricane”, in which he scored 9 goals.

In 2008 he moved to Estudiantes , where he immediately became one of the base players. For the first time in 37 years, the club reached the final of the international club tournament, the South American Cup, where it lost to the Brazilian “ Internacional ”. In 2009, Seljay was the main player in the team that managed to win his fourth Libertadores Cup, for the first time since 1970 .

In 2010, he moved to Boca Juniors. He played 20 matches out of a possible 38 for the season. In his last match for Boca on June 18, 2011, he scored two goals against La Gimnasia from La Plata - thus, Boca, losing 0-2 by the 12th minute, managed to avoid defeat and draw, and the second goal Selyay scored in the 93rd minute of the game [3] .

In August 2011, he returned to Estudiantes on a rental basis for a year.
