He graduated from the metallurgical faculty of the Dnipropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute (1927-1931), metallurgical engineer.
In 1932-1934 he worked at the Kuznetsk Metallurgical Plant .
In 1937-1941 he worked at the Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Plant named after Petrovsky .
In 1946-1949 he studied at the graduate school of DMETI at the Department of Metal Forming under the direction of A.P. Chekmarev , Ph.D. (1949). In 1949-1951 he was an assistant, in 1951-1953 he was an assistant professor at the Department of OMD of the DMETI. Associate Professor (1953). In 1953-1964 he worked as a senior researcher at the Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy (Dnepropetrovsk).
In 1964-1991 he was the head of the Department of OMD of the Donetsk Polytechnic Institute and at the same time in 1965-1968 the dean of the metallurgical faculty, in 1991-1992 he was also a professor of the Department of OMD.
He was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples (1986), medals. Honored Worker of Science of the Ukrainian SSR (1969).
