Cape Billings is a cape on the banks of the Long Strait within the Shmidtovsky District of the Chukotka Autonomous Region .

Topography
It is located on the spit that separates the waters of the Valkakynmangky lagoon from the East Siberian Sea between the mouth of the Pegtymel River and the village of Leningradsky .
The nearest village is located 12 km west - the national village of Billings .
Brief
Cape Billings is a complex of large accumulative form such as a scattering, separating from the sea the waters of several lagoons, oval. The highest elevations of the storm rampart are 5.2–5.4 m, and together with the dune crowning the crest of the storm rampart - 6.8 m [2] .
Climate
The climate is extremely severe in the Arctic, with an average annual temperature of −12.7 ° C. Frequent strong cold winds and fogs (record - 123 for a year). In summer, the boundary of pack ice passes a short distance from the coast.
Fauna
In the area of the cape is the place of the mass migration stop of the Asian population of the white goose in the period from late August to early September.
