History
The quintet was created in 2000 . The initiator of the birth of “Beauty Band” was Oksana Ryabokon (a former member of the jazz band “Jazz-Impromptu” ). So she realized her dream of creating a female vocal ensemble. [one]
During the formation, the band was greatly supported by the famous Ukrainian jazz pianist , composer and arranger Yevgeny Dergunov , who created many interesting songs and arrangements for the group.
The quintet took part in many Ukrainian jazz festivals, in 2001 became the Laureate of the 1st contest of young jazz performers in Donetsk DoJ Junior . In 2002, the team successfully performed in the framework of the Dniprogastrol festival, but the tragedy happened literally the next day - the soloist of the group Tatyana Palash suddenly died. Later, the team members found the strength to work further.
In 2003, the team took part in the jazz festival "Unity". The concert within the framework of this event is considered the most successful and holistic in the history of the collective.
In 2007, a performance at the Vocal Zone festival.
