Biography

Born on June 8 ( June 20 ), 1894 in Saratov in the family of an employee. In 1906-1911 he studied at the Saratov gymnasium [2] . Then he studied at the Law Faculty of Moscow University , in 1916 he graduated from the crash course of the Alexander Military School , was a cavalry officer on the front of the First World War , and commander of a regiment in the Red Army during the Civil War . Since 1922 he worked in the system of the Soviet administration, was engaged in the organization of labor.

Began to print in 1933 . He wrote first historical and biographical books, then military historical novels. Member of the Writers' Union since 1940. All of Golubov’s books are based on rich factual material. They are distinguished by the writer's ability to recreate the spiritual atmosphere of the era depicted, to clearly and convincingly outline the images of real historical persons [3] .

He died of uremia on February 8, 1962 . He was buried in Moscow at the Novodevichy cemetery .
