Biography
Educated at Queen's University in Belfast . In 1992 he was the captain of the university team that won the title of winner of the tournament among universities in Britain.
In 2003, he organized the Barry McNamee Memorial Trophy in memory of his friend (also a professional snooker player) Barry McNamy , who died in 2002 as a result of a car accident.
Achievements
Wallace is one of the few players who reached 1/4 of the World Cup , having first appeared on it. In 2001, at this tournament, he first defeated Alan McManus , 10: 2, and Mark King , 13: 5, but then lost to his friend and fellow countryman - Joe Swale - 11:13.
Since the 2007/08 season, after winning the Northern Ireland championship, he returned to the main tour , but at the end of the 2010/11 season he took only 74th place in the official rating and dropped out of the tour, losing his professional status.
