SQL / JRT , or else SQL Routines and Types for the Java Programming Language (Subroutines and SQL Types for the Java Programming Language ), is an extension of the SQL standard, as enshrined in ISO / IEC 9075-13: 2003. SQL / JRT defines the ability to call static methods of the Java language as a subroutine from SQL applications. It also describes the ability to use Java classes as structured user types in SQL.
