Beatrice Retelskaya (c. 1131 - March 30, 1185 ) is the daughter of Itier , Count Rethel , and Beatrice, the daughter of Count Namur Geoffrey I , wife of Roger II , King of Sicily .

Beatrice married Roger in 1151 . Three years later, on February 26, 1154 , Roger died. Their only daughter was born after his death:
- Constance of Norman , wife of the Holy Roman Emperor Henry VI
The Dowager Queen survived her husband for 31 years without ever getting married. Her daughter Constance began to rule Sicily from December 25, 1194 .
