Moscow Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 1989 for tours. Over the 20 years of his work, he performed in many countries of the world, including as part of the famous music festival in Darmstadt . The orchestra celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2009 with a series of concerts from the works of Sergei Rachmaninov ^[1] and a tour of Germany with the pianist Alexander Gindin , subsidized by GAZPROM Germany ^[2] .

In addition to the leaders of the orchestra, Antonio de Almeida and Vladimir Ziva, the conductors have repeatedly performed and recorded with conductors such as Dmitry Yablonsky , Sergey Stadler , Igor Golovchin . The main guest conductor is Ignat Solzhenitsyn . In addition, a number of recordings with the orchestra were performed by Frederic Devrese and Adriano . The discography of the orchestra, which has more than fifty discs, contains many rarely performed compositions, including the music of such authors as Aaron Avshalomov , Sergey Vasilenko , Yanis Ivanov , Alemdar Karamanov , Alexander Kopylov , Henri Soge , George Templeton Strong . The orchestra took part in the project “Flemish romantic music” (discs by Paul Gilsson , Marcel Pot and others), recorded all the symphonies of Alexander Glazunov , Charles Tournemire and Francesco Malipiero , etc. Among the soloists who recorded with the group were Vladimir Viardo , Ilya Grubert , Alexander Rudin , Victor Tretyakov , Konstantin Scherbakov , Frederic Kempf .
