Name Origin
The street was named in 1980 in honor of Alexander Evgenievich Golovanov (1904-1975), Chief Marshal of Aviation . During the Great Patriotic War, commander of long-range aviation, air army; aviation under his command and with his personal participation bombed Berlin , Königsberg , Danzig and other objects. After the war, in command positions in the Air Force.
Location
Marshal Golovanov Street starts from Pererva Street and goes south, crosses Novocherkassky Boulevard and goes to the Bataysky passage to the Moscow River . The street is a wide boulevard with numerous ponds in the middle. Along the river opposite the street is a park named after the 850th anniversary of Moscow .
