The flag of Severodonetsk is a symbol of the territorial community of the city of Severodonetsk in the Luhansk region of Ukraine .

Description
The flag is a rectangular blue cloth with a size of 1000 × 1400 mm.
In the upper left corner is the image of the State Emblem of Ukraine - the Trident in the shield.
Just above the center of the flag rectangle is the figure of the Golden Falcon .
A golden border was drawn along the perimeter, passing into the lower horizontal plane, into a golden strip, repeating the color composition of the State Flag of Ukraine .
The symbols of the fauna are accepted in international symbolism and emblem. On the flag of Severodonetsk, the symbol of the bird is used - the peregrine falcon , an inhabitant of the Lugansk region .
It should be added that the Trident is a small State emblem, the Sign of the Princely State of Vladimir the Great . There is historical information that the basis of the Trident is a stylized image of a falcon, which flies to prey.
In heraldry, the Golden Falcon is a symbol of freedom of spirit, independence, dignity, and steppe freedom.
The blue color, the main one on the flag, is a symbol of freedom, honor, fidelity and a peaceful sky.
The golden color , framed and in a horizontal strip, symbolizes the soil on which Severodonetsk , that is, yellow sand, is built . In combination with blue , it gives the original image of the area. In heraldry, the golden color is a symbol of triumph, abundance, truth.
