Northern Quanza [2] ( port. Kwanza-Norte ) is a province [3] in the northwestern part of Angola . The administrative center of North Kwanzaa is the city of Ndalatando . Its area is 24 190 km². The population is 427 971 people [1] (2014).

Geography
To the west of it is the province of Bengo , to the north - the province of Uige , to the east - the province of Malange , to the south - the province of South Kwanza . The province lies north of the Kwanza River , 100 kilometers east of Luanda .
In this province are the largest arrays of tropical jungle preserved in Angola. Otherwise, the typical natural landscape of Northern Kwanzaa is the savannah.

Economics
The basis of the province’s economy is agriculture. Cattle breeding, cultivation of coffee, cotton, fruits are developed. Wood is being harvested. The province has deposits of diamonds, gold and copper.
Through the territory of Northern Kwanza passes the railway Luanda - Malange.
