Lacharak

Lacharak ( Serb. Laћarak ) is a village in Serbia , in the community of Sremska Mitrovica , in the Sremsky okrug of the autonomous region of Vojvodina , in the historical and geographical area of Srem . According to the 2002 census of Serbia, 10,893 residents lived in the village (according to the 1991 census , 10,235 inhabitants).

The village is a northwestern suburb of the city of Sremska Mitrovica . Lacharak is located on the left bank of the Sava River, on the south side of the E 70 highway.

According to the 2002 census, there were 8,495 adult residents in the village of Lacharak, with an average age of 38.2 years (36.9 years for men and 39.5 years for women). There are 3,526 households in the village, and the average number of residents in households is 3.09.
