Rachel Torpusman (born 1970 , Reutov, Moscow Region , USSR) is an Israeli philologist and translator of Soviet origin. Daughter of philologist Abram Torpusman , scientific editor of the Short Jewish Encyclopedia .

Participated in the Zionist cultural activities in Moscow. Together with the family, she repatriated from the USSR in 1988 [1] . She lives in Jerusalem.
In 1994 she graduated from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem with a degree in Linguistics and Ancient Philology.
Translates poetry from Latin, English, French, Hebrew, Yiddish and other languages into Russian. It also translates into Hebrew.
