Biography
Frittelli's mother was born in Austria , she is a teacher by profession, and her father is an Italian who worked as a translator. Grandma Fabio was German and it was she who taught him the German language. [1] Fabio began his first steps in the music industry with the hard rock band Blue The King, and then was the bass player for the little-known band Validi Alibi. In addition to musical activity, Mo-Do worked as a model for brands such as Dolce & Gabbana , Armani and Kenzo .
In 1993, Fabio met with producer Claudio Zennaro ( Italian: Claudio Zennaro ), with the result that a new Mo-Do project appeared. The name is an acronym for Monfalcone, the hometown of the artist and Domenica, Fabio was born on Sunday.
The first single “Eins, Zwei, Polizei”, written with the complicity of Einstein Dr Deejay (real name is Fulvio Zafret), took the highest position in the Italian music chart, and a month later repeated this success on the charts of many other countries in Europe . The basis of this composition is based on two German songs: “Der Komissar” ( Falco ) and “ Da Da Da ” ( Trio ). The music studio was located in the city of Udine, Italy . Frittelli was fluent in Italian , German , English , and also a little fluent in French .
Following the debut single in 1995, two more powerful dance tracks appeared: “Super Gut” (Super Good) and “GeMa Tanzen” (Come Dance A Little). In the same year, their debut album, “Was Ist Das?”, Was released.
In 1996, Fabio contributed to the creation of 24 Monkeys - Monkey Chop. [2]
Not far from his hometown of Monfalcone, he opened the club “Mr. Charlie ”, where he was a co-founder.
October 25-26, 2013 Fabio Fritelli was supposed to perform in Moscow at the festival “Disco of the 90s”.
The composition “Das konzert” from the album “Was Ist Das?” Was used in the splash screen for the “WINDOWS” (“Very Short News”) program for teenagers, which appeared on Channel One in the mid-90s.
Death
On February 6, 2013, Fabio Frittelli was found with no signs of life in his home in Udine. The body of Fritelli was discovered by the police, which his friend called: he could not contact Fabio for several days and was worried. At the time of his death, he was 46 years old. The cause of death is suicide [3] [4] .
According to one version, the cause of suicide was a progressive cancer tumor. [five]
