Biography
Aric Benado was born in Haifa . At the age of 9, he began to play as part of the children's team of the Maccabi club (Haifa), in which his two older brothers played (Benado's father was also a football player - he played for Maccabi in the late 1970s).
In 1993, he began playing for the main staff of Maccabi. He then spent two years at the Jerusalem Beitar . He won 5 league titles and one Israeli Cup with Maccabi (Haifa).
He played in the national team on the spot of the central defender. He was a tough defender, playing his head hard. Successfully defended against the famous strikers both in the club and in the national team. He played for Maccabi in the group stage of the Champions League .
