Memorial complex "Demyanov Laz"

The tract Demyanov Laz ( Ukr. Dem'yanіv Laz ) - a place of mass executions of prisoners by the NKVD . ^[1] Located near Ivano-Frankivsk ( Ukraine ). The executions were carried out at the end of June 1941, just before the occupation of Ukraine by the troops of Nazi Germany . In total, according to Memorial activists, about 600 people were taken out and shot. ^{[2] [3]}
