Buccaurus

Buccaurus

The Bukventaur is a mythical creature from ancient Greek mythology, belonging to the class of centaurids. It is a person with the body of a bull. [1] The buccidentaur symbolizes the dualism of human nature, in which both the spiritual and animal principles are present. [2] In comparison with the image of the centaur, the animal origin prevails in it. Close to the buccidenta was the Minotaur , born of an unnatural connection between the wife of Minos Pasifai and the white sacrificial bull sent by Poseidon . Theseus and Heracles became the winners of the buccidentaurs. “... the buntaurus (Sagittarius bucentaurus) possesses the body and strength of a bull; although he is very irritable, he is very slow ” [3] .
