Luara Gurgenovna Hayrapetyan ( Armenian Լուարա Հայրապետյան ; born September 29, 1997 , Astrakhan , Russia ) is a Russian, Armenian and American singer, winner of a number of international music competitions. Also known in the USA under the pseudonym Luara Melody . She represented Russia at the national selection of Junior Eurovision 2006, where she took 2nd place, then Armenia at Junior Eurovision 2009 and also took second place.

Biography
Loire Hayrapetyan began to practice vocal and ballroom dancing at the age of four. Despite her young age, she repeatedly won the various national and international competitions. In 2003, she won the Grand Prix in the nomination “Little Miracle” at the international festival “Rainbow” in Volgograd . In 2005, for her success in the field of art and artistic creativity, she became a scholarship holder of the Government of the Astrakhan Region . In 2006, she was awarded the Grand Prix at the All-Russian pop song contest in Tuapse , and also took part in the Russian qualifying competition for children "Eurovision 2006" , in which she took second place after the Tolmachev sisters , who subsequently won the final of the competition.
In 2008, she won the children's music competition of the international art festival “Slavic Bazaar 2008” and for the first time participated in the national selection for the children's Eurovision song contest from Armenia. In 2009, she again tried to qualify for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Armenia. This year, in addition to Loire Hayrapetyan, six more young performers fought for the right to represent Armenia in the finals - Angel Petrosyan, Julie Berberyan and Lika Mushegyan, Chermak Ampikner group (White Clouds), Urakh Hohanjner group (Merry Chime), Zangak group "(Bell) and Razmik Aghajanyan. The winner of the national selection was determined by voting of viewers and the jury during the live broadcast of the Public Television of Armenia . It was Loire Hayrapetyan who performed the song of her own composition about the Spanish football club Barcelona .
In the finals of the competition , which was held in Kiev , Loire Hayrapetyan took second place, sharing it with a participant from Russia Katya Ryabova . As a result of voting by the viewers and the jury, they both scored 116 points and were 5 points behind the winner from the Netherlands, Ralph Mackenbach .
In December 2009, Loire Hayrapetyan took second place in the international competition “New Wave for Children 2009”.
Since 2011, lives in Los Angeles [1] [2] .
In 2012, at 15, she took the pseudonym Luara Melody.
