Juneau International Airport ( IATA : JNU , ICAO : PAJN , FAA LID : JNU ) is a state civilian airport located 11 kilometers northwest of the central business district of Juneau ( Alaska , USA ) [ 1] . The airport is a regional air transportation center in Alaska for local airlines and the main airline Alaska Airlines .

Operations
Juneau International Airport covers an area of 264 hectares , located at an altitude of 6 meters above sea level and operates two runways , one of which is designed to receive seaplanes [1] :
- 8/26 measuring 2578 x 46 meters with asphalt pavement;
- 8W / 26W measuring 1494 x 137 meters - for seaplanes.
During the period from December 15, 2006 to December 15, 2007, Juneau International Airport handled 153 010 take-offs and landings of aircraft (an average of 419 operations daily), of which 70% were on air taxi flights, 24% - on general aviation , 5% They took regular commercial transport and 1% - flights of military aircraft.
