Biography

Born in a family of workers. In 1923 he graduated from a vocational school at the Enakievsky Metallurgical Plant , in 1952 - refresher courses at the Central Committee of the CPSU (b).

In 1923 he was sent to Nadezhdinsky (now - Serov) metallurgical plant ( Ural region ), he worked as a foreman of the assembly of metal structures.

In 1929 he moved to Sverdlovsk , worked as a foreman on the construction of the Ural Heavy Machinery Plant (Uralmashzavod), in 1930 joined the VKP (b) . In the years 1930-1932. He served in the Red Army, then returned to the construction of Uralmashzavod (the construction of the plant was completed in 1933). Since 1933 - master, senior master, then head of the Uralmashzavod workshop.

On June 12, 1938, he was elected a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR in Stalin electoral district No. 489. In August 1938 he was elected first secretary of the Ordzhonikidze district committee of the CPSU (b) of Sverdlovsk . From January 1939 - Second Secretary of the Sverdlovsk City Committee of the CPSU (b) , actually headed the city party organization, since the first secretary of the Sverdlovsk City Committee of the CPSU (b) Vasily Andrianov held this position part-time. From June 1942 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Sverdlovsk Regional Council, simultaneously from March 1, 1944 to June 20, 1947 - Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR. During the war, he took part in organizing the location of industrial enterprises evacuated to the Urals from the European part of Russia.

In March 1946 he was elected First Secretary of the Sverdlovsk Regional Committee of the CPSU (b), at the same time until February 1950 - First Secretary of the Sverdlovsk City Committee of the CPSU (B) . In August 1952 he was transferred to the post of first secretary of the Tula regional committee of the CPSU (b) - CPSU.

In November 1953, he was relieved of his post as first secretary of the Tula regional committee of the CPSU . In March 1954, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the CPSU was criticized for "a number of gross errors in work, especially in agriculture management" and the decision of the February-March plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU of March 2, 1954 removed from the Central Committee of the CPSU . From 1954 to 1969 - Deputy Chairman of the Smolensk Regional Executive Committee.

Since March 1969 - a personal pensioner of union importance, Smolensk .

Buried at Bratskoye cemetery in Smolensk.
