Biography
He began his career in the Baku clubs Dynamo and Neftchi .
2003 spent in Iran and Ukraine.
At the end of the 2003/04 season he played for Karabakh . He soon moved to Karvan , where he performed for two seasons.
In the 2006/07 season, he played for Neftchi , where he spent most of his time on the bench [3] .
The season 2007/08 began as part of the MKT-Araz club (Imishli) . He played for the club in both games for the UEFA Cup against the Polish “Grozlin”, as a result of which the Imishli team dropped out of the tournament [4] . After this failure, the club president disbanded the team, and Ismayilov moved to Olympic from Baku. With the new team, he won the right to play in the UEFA Cup 2008-2009 , but after the end of the 2007/08 season he was forced to leave Olympic. The reason for leaving is the end of the annual contract and the club’s reluctance to see a middle-aged football player in their ranks [5] .
After leaving Olimpik, 3 clubs, one from the capital and two from the provinces, wanted to see him in their ranks, Farrukh moved by mutual agreement with Ramiz Mammadov to Gabala , although in other clubs the offers from the financial side were more profitable. However, the team spent only one season, playing only 6 games [6] .
In 2009–2010, he was a Mugan player; in November 2010 he left the team [7] [8] .

From 1998 to 2007, he held 31 matches in the Azerbaijani national team , in which he scored 4 goals.

- Silver medalist of the championship of Azerbaijan: 1997/98 (as part of Dynamo), 2000/01, 2001/02, 2006/07 (as part of Neftchi), 2005/06 (as part of Karvana), 2007/08 ( in the "Olympic")
- Bronze medalist of the championship of Azerbaijan: 1999/00 (as part of Neftchi), 2003/04 (as part of Karabakh), 2004/05 (as part of Karvana)
