Biography
Primary education in the madrasa of the village Yuluk , the village Tanalyk, " Rasulia ", " Galia " [2] . He taught in the madrasa of the cities of Verkhoturie , Verkhneuralsk , Troitsk , Irkutsk .
Since 1913, it has been published in magazines and newspapers “Vakyt” (“Time”), “Tormosh” (“Life”), “Mugallym” (“Teacher”), “Shura” (“Council”).
On December 8, 1917, he was elected to the first government of Bashkurdistan - the Bashkir central Shuro , appointed editor of the newspaper Bashkort .
At the III All-Bashkir Congress he was elected to the Kese-Kurultai (Pre-Parliament). Together with the famous poet Sh. Babich and other members of the advanced youth, he founded the organization “ Tulkyn ” (“Wave”), the original name of which was “Yush Bash-ortostan Yushtre Berleg” (“Union of the Youth of Bashkortostan”) [3] .
In March 1918, he was among the Bashkurdistan government representatives arrested by the Bolsheviks .
In 1918 he became the head of the Bashkir branch of the Central Muslim Commissariat. He was the editor of the newspaper " Bashkort tauyshy " ("Voice of Bashkir") and "Bashkortostan hokumete tele" ("Bulletin of the Government of Bashkurdistan").
In 1919-1920 worked in the Bashkir Military Revolutionary Committee .
In 1926 - Chairman of the Committee of the New Bashkir Alphabet (Yanalif) BashCIK .
In the 1930s. He worked at the trust "Yuzhurales".
Repressed as a "Bashkir nationalist . " He was arrested on January 20, 1935 and sentenced to 5 years in prison [4] . He died in 1939 in Magadan . Rehabilitated in 1964.
Creativity
In 1918, the youth organization "Tulkyn" released the first collection of poems by H. Gabitov, "Bashkort moskdars" ("Bashkir melodies"). The second collection of poems was released in 1923 under the name “Ural yarkary” (“Songs of the Urals”).
His play “Ynydykai and Yuldykai” (“Ynyykay Menn Yuldykay”, 1924) was repeatedly staged on the stage of the Bashkir Drama Theater .
Scientific Activities
H. Gabitov participated in the development of Bashkir linguistics. Co-author of such scientific works as “Spelling in the Bashkir language” (“Bashortsa yagyu Korals”, 1924; jointly with N. Tagirov ), “Grammar of the Bashkir language”, “Morphology of the Bashkir language”, etc.
Gabitov is the author-compiler (together with G. F. Vildanov ) of the folklore collection “Words of the Ancestors. Proverbs and sayings in the Bashkir language. Many Kubairi recorded Habibulla Gabitov, included in the collection " Bashkir folk art ."
