Biography

In August 1941 he was drafted into the Red Army during the Great Patriotic War . From November 1941 to July 1942 he took part in the defense of Sevastopol as part of the 8th Marine Corps brigade. From July 4, 1942 to August 9, 1945 he was captured.

He was awarded the medal "For the victory over Germany . "

He played for the Neftyanik clubs (Baku) from 1949 to 1951 and from 1954 to 1955, for the Air Force (Moscow) in 1955 and for Dynamo (Leningrad) in 1953.

Abramashvili left Neftyanik after the club lost several games in a row and was unable to reach the top division of the USSR championship, and Isai himself failed to make a penalty in one of these matches [1] .

After completing a player’s career, he worked as a coach at the Metallurg clubs in Sumgayit and Dynamo (Kirovabad) [2] .
