Story
The Valdai T-614 spacecraft, which flew the Earth - Jupiter-8 - Earth, received serious damage. Automatic landing is not possible. From the control center, a command was given to the pilot of the ship, astronaut Platonov, to get a good night's sleep before an emergency descent in manual mode.
At the appointed time, the pilot did not wake up and all attempts to wake him up were unsuccessful. The ship must inevitably die. Unexpected advice to flight managers was given by the grandfather of the astronaut. He advised changing the course so that the ship passed over his native village house. Sounds familiar from childhood disturbed the pilot's asleep consciousness and he successfully landed the ship.
