Career
Club
A pupil of Azerbaijani football. At the age of 17 he became the world junior champion in the USSR national team.
From 1988 to 1991, he played in Neftchi Baku, where he became a finalist for the 1988 USSR Football Federation Cup .
In 1992, he played in Sakhalin . For 2 years he became the team's top scorer in all of its history (54 goals). He also holds a record of performance in one season - 34 goals (1994, top scorer in the Vostok zone of the second league). In 1994, he made six hat-tricks and one poker , and, only once, a hat-trick did not help the team win. On September 5, 1994, Sakhalin lost to Dynamo Yakutsk - 3: 4 [1] .
In 1995, he played 2 games for Neftchi, after which he played again in Russia for Arsenal Tula , Spartak Ryazan and Lada Energy .
In 1998 he returned to Azerbaijan, played for Baky Fehlesi .
Coaching
In the 2006/07 season, he headed the first league club - Standard Baku [2] .
In July 2008, he was appointed head coach of Mugan (the team played under the name NBC). Under his leadership, the club spent 17 matches, 15 of which were played in the Premier League, and 2 - in the Cup of the country, scored only 1 victory, 2 matches ended in a draw and suffered 14 defeats. After two defeats from “ Gabala ” and “ Simurg ” at the start of the second round, Kadyrov resigned [3] [4] . In May 2009, Kadyrov again became the head coach of the team, leading “Mugan” to the two remaining games of the championship [5] .
A little earlier, in April 2009, he was appointed coach of the national teams of Azerbaijan U-19 and U-21 [6] .
In the 2010/11 season - the head coach of the club "Ravan", with whom he came out of the 1st league to the highest [7] . In May 2011, he started working as a sports director at Ravana. In October 2011, he was appointed the head coach of Ravana instead of Bakhman Hasanov [8] [9] . In February 2012, there was a “reverse replacement” - Hasanov replaced Kadyrov [10] .
In June 2012 he became the coach of the Olympic (U-21) national team of Azerbaijan .
