2009 World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Draft - 2009 is the seventh draft wrestler in the history of the largest federation in the world - WWE . The draft consisted of two parts: the television part, shown on April 13, 2009, in the draft edition of Raw , held in Atlanta , and the dark part, the results of which were announced at subsequent shows.
The entire roster of the federation was divided into two brands (Raw and SmackDown! ) On March 25, 2002 , and on May 29, 2006 a third brand was created - the revived ECW. Since 2004, Drafts have been held annually, during which some wrestlers can change their brand.

During the television part, 10 battles took place, in each of which wrestlers from different brands took part. The brand whose wrestler won the battle received one or two fighters from other brands selected randomly.
