It is the administrative center of the Nizhnebishkinsky Village Council, which, moreover, includes the villages of Geyivka , Dry Gomolsha and Cherkassky Bishkin .
Geographical position
The village of Nizhny Bishkin is located on the right bank of the Seversky Donets River at the confluence of the Bishkin River, upstream 4.5 km away is the village of Dry Gomolsha , downstream 7 km away is the village of Gayovka , on the opposite bank there is a village Cherkassy Bishkin , upstream of the Bishkin River at a distance of 6 km is the village of Verkhniy Bishkin (Pervomaisky District) . Part of the village, located on the left bank of the Bishkin River, used to be called Glinische village.
Origin of title
In some documents, the village is called as Lower Byshkin .
History
- 1650 - the date of foundation.
It was the village of Limansky volost, Zmievsky district, Kharkov province of the Russian Empire .
During World War II, the village was under German occupation . During the occupation, the village was one of the bases of the Soviet partisan detachment commanded by Ya. A. Brekhunets [1] .
In 1966, the population was 655 people (mostly Russians), a collective farm named after the XX Party Congress (which had 6,000 hectares of agricultural land on its balance sheet and specialized in growing pigs), which had 6,496 hectares of land, and an eight-year school, library and the club [1] .
The population at the 2001 census was583 people .
