Biography
Grigory Chernetsov was born on June 1, 1989 in Yakutsk. In 2011 he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov.
Winner of prestigious music competitions. Winner of the VIII International Competition of Young Opera Singers Elena Obraztsova in St. Petersburg in 2011 and the V All-Russian Competition of Young Opera Singers named after Nadezhda Obukhova in Lipetsk in 2012 [1] , as well as the IX International Competition of Young Opera Singers named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov in Tikhvin in 2015 [2] . Last year, Gregory became the laureate of the IV Lisician vocal competition in Vladikavkaz [3] .
Mariinsky Theater
Currently, Grigory Chernetsov is a soloist at the Mariinsky Theater Academy of Young Opera Singers [4] . In the season 2014–2015 he performed the title role in the opera Eugene Onegin on the new stage of the Mariinsky Theater, in 2016 in the operas The History of Kai and Gerda and Francesca da Rimini. Now Grigory Chernetsov is preparing for his role in the opera Carmen.
Festivals
Gregory is a regular participant in the Moscow Easter Festival.
Gregory also performed at the Bolshoi Theater of Geneva, the Prince Regent Theater in Munich, in concert halls of Russia and Europe.
