Environmental conditions

The village of Vozrozhdenie is located in the wide valley of the Mezyb River, stretching from east to west, along the southern slope of the Kotsehursky ridge (spur GKH), to the west of the Mikhailovsky Pass . The left, steeper side of the Mesyb Valley is facing north. Plantations of the eastern beech formation (Fageta orientalis) dominate here. The right side of the valley (slopes of the Kotsehursky ridge) is turned to the south, here and on the forested parts of the floodplain of the river rocky oak formations (Quercera petraeae) prevail. The slopes of the Kotsehursky ridge intersect deep incisions of the fissures (Dark, Zhane, Yatlikova, and Mild), along the bottom of which rivers flow into the Mezyb. In the mouths of rivers, along the cracks grow alder, willow, shrubs.

In the lower part of the side of the valley of the river Mezyb are composed of a layer of lower Cretaceous terrigenous flysch, representing alternation of clays, with sandstone, aleurite and conglomerate interlayers. Ammonites occur in outcrops.

On the northern outskirts of the village, in the conditional boundaries between the rivers of the Achibs and Zhane river valleys, the Achibo-Zheneiskoye mineral medicinal iodine-bromine water deposit is located in the Reisterny Gap [2] . The waters of the deposit are predominantly sodium chloride type of medium and high mineralization, up to brines (salinity from 10 to 45 g / l). In the vicinity of the village there are self-flowing mineral springs of iodine-bromine water - “Mikhailovsky” located near the eastern border of the village, and “Ruslan”, located on the right side of the valley of the Achibes river.

History

The area of the modern village has been inhabited by man since ancient times. For example, dolmens located in the valley of the river Jean are dated to the first half of the 3rd - second half of the 2nd millennium BC. er

According to the Adrianople treatise of 1829, the Ottoman Empire forever gave Russia its rights to the east coast of the Black Sea, with the Circassian tribes who inhabited it, but they did not recognize the power of both powers. In 1864, the Caucasian War ended, as a result of which Circassian societies who did not want to recognize the authority of the Russian state over themselves were evicted to Turkey.

Since May 1864, the government began to settle the empty coast. At the end of the 19th century, the Novorossiysk-Sukhumskoe Highway passed through the valley of the Mezyb River, the construction of which was led by General M.N. Annenkov . The highways began to be built in 1887, and by 1892 it was put into operation. On the map of the vicinity of Gelendzhik in 1902, on the site of the modern Renaissance village, only one point was indicated - the hunting estate of Prince Alexander Petrovich of Oldenburg located at the mouth of the Zhane river.

With the establishment of Soviet power, in the vicinity of Gelendzhik, agriculture began to develop rapidly. So the collective farms were formed: “them. Telman "- the farm Wide Slope ; "them. TS.O. Pravdy - the farm Soft Cleft; "Red gardener" - 13 km; "Our work" - farms Jeanne and Bald Hills.
