The Tokyo subway uses three different tracks - 1435 mm, 1372 mm, 1067 mm. The first lines used a gauge of 1435 mm (European), but later a track of 1067 mm was chosen for joint operation with urban and suburban subways. For example, the Ginza and Marunouchi lines have a gauge of 1435 mm, the rest - 1067 and 1372 mm.
