Tyrrell 001 - became the first racing car produced by the Tyrrell Racing Organization team . Designed by designer Derek Gardner to participate in the 1970 Formula 1 season. The car was a replacement March 701 , which was used by the team before.

History
A chassis made of aluminum was used by Jackie Stewart in the four Grand Prix in 1970 and 1971 . The Scot won the pole position at the 1970 Canadian Grand Prix . The second pole was taken by Stuart at the 1971 South African Grand Prix . At the end of the season, rider Peter Revson started in a car at the US Grand Prix .
