Ruby pepper mushroom [1] , also a ruby oiler ( lat. Rubinobolétus rubínus ), is a mushroom from the genus Rubinoboletus of the Boletaceae family . Type species of the genus.

The hat reaches 8 cm in diameter, at first hemispherical, eventually expanding to convex and almost flat, painted in brick red or yellow-brown tones. The tubular hymenophore , pores and tubules are pinkish-red, not changing color when damaged.
The leg is central, cylindrical or club-shaped, usually tapering downward. The surface of the legs is pinkish, covered with a reddish coating.
The flesh is yellowish, at the base of the leg bright yellow, not changing color in the air, without much taste and smell.
Spores are widely elliptical, 5.5-8.5 × 4-5.5 microns.
