Biography
Born in Moscow in 1953. In 1976 he graduated from the Faculty of Molecular and Chemical Physics of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology [1] , in 1979 - the postgraduate study of the Institute of Atomic Energy. Kurchatov .
As a result of his research, he obtained results that, in his opinion, may indicate the discovery of a magnetic monopole and the transmutation of chemical elements [2] [3] . According to the academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences E.P. Kruglyakov , the special commission of the RRC Kurchatov Institute gave the following conclusion: “At the moment there are no grounds to speak about the discovery” [4] . The review by S. S. Gershtein , Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, supported by the Scientific Council of the Institute for High Energy Physics , stated: . " [5] Similar conclusions were made at the nuclear physics center in Arzamas-16 (now Sarov ), where control experiments were conducted. [five]
Research interests: plasma physics , radiation and nuclear physics , elementary particle physics . He is fond of geophysics .
He has a patent for the invention "Method of protecting nuclear reactors and a device for its implementation" [6] .
