Content
History
Banovce were first mentioned in 1232 . In 1376 became a free royal city. In the history of Banovets there are two black stripes - 1431 - 1433 , when the Hussites burned the city and 1633 , when the Turkish army stopped in Banovtsy. In the Middle Ages, the city was famous for its artisans, especially shoemakers.
