Education

He studied at the Kharkov Art College (1940-1941) and at the Kharkov State Art Institute (1948-1954) with Yu. V. Balanovsky , G. A. Tomenko. He completed his thesis "Funeral days", "Sorrow of the people" under the guidance of S. F. Besedin.

Participation in exhibitions

Adolf Markovich of Constantinople took part in art exhibitions since 1954.

One of the artist’s first paintings, “Native Land,” was presented at a republican exhibition in 1957. She immediately won the recognition of viewers and critics, rightly entering one of the best works of Ukrainian battle painting dedicated to the war. Naturally and unconstrainedly composed this epic, multifaceted canvas. It attracts with its truthfulness and deep meaning. The gaze gradually moves from group to group, from face to face. One gets the impression of a diverse character and, at the same time, soldiers unified in their mood. [2]

The artist's works were exhibited at foreign exhibitions in Canada (1962) and Italy (1975).

Teaching

He taught at the Kharkov Art College (1954-1956), at the Kharkov Art and Industrial College since 1960.

Achievements

He participated in the creation of the panel “October Revolution” for the main pavilion of the VDNKh of the Ukrainian SSR (1958) and the diorama “Forcing the Dnieper and creating a bridgehead in the area with. Luthezh on the outskirts of Kiev. "

His works are in the National Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 , the Kharkov Art Museum , in the museums of Ternopol , Krivoy Rog .
